Benefit from the elimination of manual entry work in your daily work routine! For several years now, there has been a globally established "Document Capture" product from Continia for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This product goes far beyond the standard functionality of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and is also available for all NAV versions from previous years.
"Document Capture" for Microsoft Dynamics NAV automatically imports and processes scanned documents, such as incoming invoices or e-mail attachments (pdf). These documents are then available within Microsoft Dynamics NAV for full-text searches, searches and with a document preview.
For incoming invoices, all relevant invoice header information and other business data such as invoice lines, tax amounts, article numbers, descriptions, VAT ID numbers, etc. are recognized and extracted within Microsoft Dynamics NAV using "Document Capture" and "ABBY OCR document recognition".
Document Capture" for Microsoft Dynamics NAV checks the read information against the master data and templates available in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Unrecognized information can be added, corrected and trained using drag and drop. It is possible to rework content that has not been clearly recognized. It is important that all commercially relevant information defined as mandatory fields is recognized and processed. The data is read in using a template and the support of a synonym catalog, thus ensuring high recognition rates.
The process is of course completed on the one hand with the comparison, checking and allocation of invoices with the corresponding orders, and on the other hand with the continuation of a workflow-based approval procedure (process) within the familiar Microsoft Dynamics NAV or a web-based interface for non-Dynamics NAV users.
