OPplus-gbedv, a reliable partner in the development of additional modules for financial management in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, offers the "Extended Asset Accounting" module in the complete object package. Our add-on partner has thus simplified certain issues and processes and implemented functions that are not available in the standard system.

General benefits
- Rounding book values, i.e. automatic adjustment of the depreciation amounts (depreciation for wear and tear) so that the residual book value is rounded to even amounts
- Depreciation calculation as a batch for several months
- Distributions to dimensions can be stored directly in the asset and not just in the asset posting group
- Depreciation check report to determine in which periods no depreciation has yet been posted
Benefits for asset additions
- Cash discount on asset purchases
- Attachment templates, for the automatic creation of attachments for asset acquisitions
- Pre-assignment of the checkboxes "Depreciation until investment date" and "Retroactive depreciation correction" for acquisitions (if the acquisition takes place in the same financial year)
- Pre-assignment of the "Activate copy process" checkbox and automatic posting, e.g. of acquisition costs in other depreciation books
- Recording quantities on systems
Benefits for asset disposals
- Simplified partial retirement postings with quantities or amounts
- Scrapping and sale can be displayed and booked separately
- Cancellation of an asset sale simplified, also via credit notes
- Adjustment of cancel transaction and asset reversal

Development of fixed assets
The module has been integrated into the 'complete object package' of OPplus and is available from the Cumulative Update (CU) 06 in NAV 2018CU 19 in NAV 2017 and CU 32 in NAV 2016. This module can be adapted accordingly for older CUs or NAV versions.
