Important notice for Microsoft Dynamics NAV customers of MBL (Module Based Licensing) and BRL (Business Ready Licensing) license model:
Microsoft has announced a standardization of its prices for Microsoft Dynamics NAV user licenses in various versions and license models, which will come into effect on 1 January 2016. Specifically, this involves an increase in the price for additional users that you may need in the future. If your company has a foreseeable need for additional users for your Microsoft Dynamics ERP software in the next six to twelve months, now is the ideal time to purchase these user licenses before the prices are increased on 1 January 2016.
This change has no impact on the costs of your Enhancement Plan (maintenance plan) or for the users you licensed before January 1, 2016 (according to the Customer Services and Support Plan Policy).
In this context: As you may remember, in October 2012 Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 version with the "Perpetual Licensing" license model, a new, simplified model that only comprises one edition, one functionality package and two user types. We would like to take this opportunity to show you the reasons for existing customers to upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016.
