Mobile shopping continues to gain ground
According to the Adobe study "Online Holiday Shopping Forecast", the proportion of mobile purchases grew by 42% in Germany last Christmas. This would put Germany well ahead of France (34%), the UK (28%) and the USA (25%).

However, the number of online orders only increased by 7.6% overall in 2014, regardless of device. This was the result of a study by the international payment service provider Computop. The company analyzed seven million transactions worth 540 million euros from 3,800 online retailers. In comparison, the number of orders grew by 18% in the same period in 2013.

However, this example clearly shows the shift towards mobile applications. As predicted by all sides, the mobile trend is now really taking off.
