In Dynamics 365 Business Central, each user is assigned a profile that reflects their business role.
The administrator can use profiles to centrally define and manage which user types can be displayed and executed on the user interface.
The typical business use of a profile is a role.
The Business Central user interface therefore displays a "Profile (roll)" as the typical business use of a profile corresponds to a role.
However, before you can manage the users, they must be created and added via the Microsoft 35 Admin Center. You can then assign authorizations to the added user in order to define which business areas can be displayed and/or edited.
