Under the motto "Bringing two worlds together" Microsoft officially launched the new version of the ERP software Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 published.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 comes with numerous improvements and new functionalities.
The new release focuses on the integration and simplification of work processes. Dynamics NAV 2017 also brings improvements in the area of core functionalities and a deeper integration of Office 365 and Power BI.
We have summarized the most important changes and innovations here:
- Introduction of article attributes that can be flexibly assigned to an article
- Introduction of article category hierarchies, e.g. furniture, including: Tables, chairs,...
- Cancellation of posted purchase/sales credits
- G/L account categories and subcategories
- Improvements in the project module, own project manager role center
- Intelligent notifications/hints in the user interface that do not disrupt the workflow
- New layout/display options: "Block views" and images in lists
- Design mode: Extended customization options for the interface: Show, arrange, move fields
- Wizards for easy setup of additional functions, e.g. CRM connection
- OCR support for automated processing of documents, even at document line level
