Cumulative Update 29 to CKL 2013 Feature Pack 1

Changes and improvements were made in the areas of cost element and cost center accounting as well as in the area of cost unit accounting. A major focus was on the significant expansion of allocations and the flexible activity types for allocation by activity.

In addition, two new role centers were designed for cost and activity accounting.

The following application changes result for cost center accounting and cost unit accounting:

  • Instead of canceling cost element postings, the corresponding journal entries can now also be selected and deleted from there together with the items
  • The enhancements to the copying functions now enable end-to-end budgeting
  • By using budget filters in the column layouts, multiple plan/plan/actual comparisons can now also be carried out
  • Adoption of budget values as actual values
  • Use of the clearing rates from the service origin

In addition to cost center to cost center and cost center to cost object allocations, cost object to cost object allocations are now also possible in cost object accounting. Changes have also been made to the cost center allocations and cost object allocations. It is now also possible to maintain allocation distributions more quickly and flexible activity types can be defined.

In addition, adjustments were made to the audit report for cost account schemes and to the MS Excel Power Pivot Template (Self-Service BI).

Details of the changes and improvements can be found in the fact sheet from our partner CKL.
