The new ForNAV version, ForNAV 5.0, supports Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2019 Release Wave 2 (Version 15) OnPremise, Private Cloud and Microsoft Cloud (Microsoft AppSource). ForNAV 5.0 contains some new, interesting features. For example, the set of ForNAV standard reports has been expanded to include many new reports, such as shipping labels, pro forma invoices and item price tags.

We have compiled an overview of the most important new features for you here:

The ForNAV Standard Report Pack has been supplemented with new reports, such as shipping labels, pro forma invoices and item price tags, and existing ones have been revised.

Direct local printing is no problem with ForNAV, whether for Business Central OnPrem or Cloud.

A finished report in less than 5 minutes - Install ForNAV, set it up and create a new report, all in less than 5 minutes - without Visual Studio Code even just to touch it. It is now possible to download existing reports directly from Business Central, customize the dataset and/or layout and save the result back to Business Central. You can also create reports from scratch by using a template from the ForNAV gallery or a copy of an existing ForNAV or RDLC report. It is possible at any time to create a Preview or the Save the result as source code in a Visual Studio code project.

End-to-end extension management in the ForNAV Designer, without using the Business Central cmdlets.

Supports development on Docker - ForNAV Designer and ForNAV Runtime now also run with Docker. When saving a report or uploading an app file to Docker, ForNAV Designer tests whether the correct ForNAV DLL is available and if not, the DLL is uploaded and installed there.

Improved conversion from TXT to AL - Conversion to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2019 Release Wave 2 (Version 15) in just one step. This means you can take your reports, e.g. from Navision 4.0, and convert them directly to Business Central Version 15. Or you can take your, e.g. Dynamics NAV 2018 application and convert allobjects from TXT to AL and execute them on Business Central Version 15.

Conversion of your AL Extensions from Business Central OnPrem to Cloud, and vice versa.

FREE TRANSLATION TOOL - Problems can often occur when working with translations in the AL Extensions, which is why ForNav provides you with a free tool to make your work easier.

The new ForNAV version supports Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2019 Release Wave 2 (Version 15) OnPrem, Private Cloud and Microsoft Cloud (Microsoft AppSource)

If you are interested in the ForNAV Designer report, please contact us!

You can test the tool in a demo version without any obligation, just contact us!

Tel: +49 (89) 21 111 848
E-Mail: vertrieb@br-ag.com

Our add-on partner ForNAV has announced that a new version of the convenient report add-on has been released.
