Today we would like to draw your attention once again to an important change in the area of on-premise licensing on the part of Microsoft. After Microsoft harmonized the cloud prices on April 1, changes to the availability and prices of individual on-premise products were announced a few days ago.
We would like to inform you about the changes that will take effect from October 1, 2023 are implemented:
The following price adjustments apply from October 1, 2023:
Change in pricing in the on-premise area
11 % Price adjustment for Dynamics 365 Business Central On-premise purchase licenses
10 % Price adjustment for Dynamics 365 Business Central On-premise subscription licenses (rental licenses)
14 % Price adjustment for Dynamics NAV subscription licenses (rental licenses)
Adjustment of the rate for enhancement plans from 17 % to 18 %
(Attention: for existing customers from renewal date or renewal date)
Change to on-premise licensing
Furthermore, from April 1, 2025 for New customers no longer possible be Dynamics 365 Business Central Acquire on-premise perpetual licenses (purchase licenses).
Important note:
This does not mean that the Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise deployment will be discontinued entirely. Only the acquisition by purchase will be discontinued in two years. Dynamics 365 Business Central On-Premise Subscription licenses (rental licenses) will continue to be available, so subscriptions for Dynamics 365 Business Central On-Premise will remain in place. In addition, licensing will continue for existing customers with active enhancement plans. This means that you can continue to add features and/or users to your existing perpetual license.
