Item attributes and categories as well as illustrated item list in NAV 2017

We would like to show you how you can better structure and categorize your product range with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The 2017 version offers great innovations in the standard version.

Article attributes

The newly introduced article attributes enable individual classification of the article master according to your specified criteria. Properties such as size or material properties can be mapped in a very user-friendly way.

Multiple assignments are also possible. This simplifies the entry and addition of articles to existing sales orders and purchase orders.

Depending on the customer's wishes, the attributes can be created and used individually for different areas of the company.

Article categories

Also new in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 are the Article categories with a main level and various hierarchy levels, which enable a hierarchical arrangement of articles. You can freely select the categories.

For example, you can derive different articles from one model.

The main advantage of the Article attributes and categories is therefore the transparency and clarity of your articles.

It also allows you to analyze your product range according to categories or attributes defined by you. This gives you an overview of sales figures and the turnover of individual products.

Search and filter function

And the search and filter function offers a significant advantage in use.

Illustrated article list

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 gives you a visually appealing display of your product catalog with the option of adding suitable item images to your items. Similar to the illustration in a web store, you can display the images in different sizes and thus obtain a very clear presentation of your product range. Several graphics can be saved under one article master. You can also select a view in which the appropriate image is displayed directly for the item. This makes it much easier for you to search for an item and saves you a lot of time.
