Multi Entity Management is an extension for Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central that makes it possible to maintain data centrally and make it available to other clients at runtime.
Functionality
Multi Entity Management makes it possible to maintain data centrally and make it available to other clients at runtime.
The following data can be managed:
- Master data such as G/L accounts, customers, vendors, articles, dimensions
- Additional master data such as terms of payment, dunning methods, bank accounts
- Facilities such as Financial Accounting Setup, Accounts Receivable & Sales Setup, Accounts Payable & Purchasing Setup, Posting Matrix Setup
Replication
The tool also enables companies with complex structures to implement master data management within the database and across databases.
Inside the Database
Operational clients or template clients can be used for the master data, which are used purely for setup and master data management. The structure can be set up hierarchically.
Cross-database
The communication of a cross-database replication of data in Microsoft Dynamics BC takes place via web services (Publisher and Subscriber)
In addition, Multi Entity Management offers many setting options in the Pro table:
- Transfer only certain fields
- Set defined fields with other field contents on transfer
- Replicate all data at runtime
- Send / get data explicitly
- Allow user-defined data in dependent clients
Many useful graphics and information are made available to the data manager in the role center and the master data pages.
