With the introduction of the October version, Microsoft is finally completing the switch from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central - at least in name. As both solutions have the same code base, the transition from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central should, according to Microsoft, be as smooth for customers as another NAV upgrade. Dynamics 365 Business Central is currently available as a local, hybrid or cloud-based solution.
