License models at a glance

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is licensed according to the modern named user model. This means that each user receives their own license - regardless of how many are working in the system at the same time. This means that the solution can be flexibly adapted to your company structure and user roles - whether in the cloud or as an on-premise version.

Existing users of Microsoft Dynamics NAV can easily convert their installation to Business Central as part of a transition. Existing data, processes and individual extensions can be largely transferred to the new environment.

Team Member

For employees who mainly require read rights, simple approvals and self-service functions - including access to reports and basic processes.

Essentials User (Full User)

Includes full use of all central ERP functions such as financial management, sales, purchasing, project management, warehouse and personnel management.

Premium User (Full User)

Also includes the areas of service management and production - ideal for companies with technical or production-related requirements.

The Microsoft Enhancement Plan (EP)

The Microsoft Enhancement Plan (EP for short) is much more than a formal requirement for product support. It is a strategic maintenance concept that helps companies realize the full potential of their Microsoft Dynamics solution. In addition to reliable support, the EP includes regular enhancements, exclusive access to knowledge and resources as well as sustainable investment protection - all designed to ensure the long-term successful operation and further development of your business software.

Further development

With the Enhancement Plan, you always stay technically up to date. New versions of your Dynamics solution are included without additional license costs. Functions you have already paid for are retained - you only pay for the actual implementation.

Know-how transfer and exclusive content

As an EP customer, you get access to the CustomerSource platform with exclusive training courses, e-learning, white papers and early information on new releases. This allows you to expand your knowledge - in a practical way and with an information advantage.

Investment protection

If you switch to another Dynamics product at a later date, your existing license will be credited. In this way, your previous expenditure remains valuable and you ensure flexibility for future decisions.

Long-term product support
