brAG eDoc App Version 5.9: Even more powerful, even more convenient

With the new eDoc Version 5.9 is now available with an update that offers numerous improvements and new functions for a more efficient and user-friendly working day. In this article, you can find out in detail which new features are included and why the update is worthwhile for you.

Support for new standards and formats

One focus of the update is the extended support of current invoice formats and technical standards in Europe:

  • A new Mapping for the PEPPOL format was integrated.
    → For: posted sales invoice and credit note as well as posted service invoice and credit note.
  • The format PEPPOL has also been fully integrated into the code and the REST API.
  • The formats ZUGFeRD 2.3, XRechnung 3.0 and Factur-X were extended by the element "Description" extended.
    → Remark lines are now excluded in all other European formats.
  • The transformation rule was newly introduced "E_TEXTASSIGNMENT"which controls the assignment of comment lines to article references.

These adaptations ensure that eDoc fully covers current legal and technical requirements and that you are optimally equipped for digital invoicing in Europe.

Improved user-friendliness

Operation has also been further optimized to make working with eDoc more convenient:

  • In the incoming eDocs, additional information is now visible directly in the cards - without having to open tabs.
  • The help link in the Extension management has been revised and updated.
