Today we would like to introduce you to a very helpful tool from our add-on partner ForNAV Germany, with which you can easily create and edit reports in Dynamics NAV: the Reports ForNAV Designer.
If you are familiar with the reporting tools in Dynamics NAV, you can also use the Reports ForNAV Designer without much training. It includes a package with purchasing and sales documents and the reports frequently required in day-to-day business, such as quotation forms, order confirmations, purchase orders or reminders. Payment slips, packing slips and labels can also be created and customized with Reports ForNAV Designer.
Compared to the Microsoft standard tool, you will be able to generate the documents you need many times faster and more easily according to your requirements.

- By using vector graphics instead of bitmaps, the Quality of your logos and images is not impaired at high resolutions.
- User-defined Watermark can easily be stored in the documents.
- Automatic line breaki.e. correct word division.
- AutoFit function: If a text does not fit into a field, the size is automatically adjusted.
- No overlapping of TextBoxes.
- Cross sections functionBorders around header or body are possible.
- The field Client currency is automatically linked to the Currency code of the respective client.
The Reports ForNAV Designer is compatible with all Dynamics NAV versions from NAV 2013. Installation is completed within a few minutes.
