The software provider Continia is realigning its solution portfolio in the financial sector. With "Continia Banking" and "Continia Finance" there are two modern successor products for the established add-ons OPplus and Dynamo Pay in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The aim is to further develop proven functions, modernize technology and sustainably improve work processes.
What is changing?
Continia is restructuring the functions of its existing solutions:
- In future, all payment transaction processes from OPplus and Dynamo Pay will be integrated into the Continia Banking and enhanced with new features, such as the direct bank connection.
- The other OPplus modules can be found in Continia Finance again. These include associations, item display and printing, balance sheet and VAT functions, G/L accounts managed by the operating system and extended asset accounting.
While Continia Banking modernizes payment transactions, the familiar mode of operation of the previous OPplus modules remains in Continia Finance largely preserved.
Schedule and availability
The first versions of Continia Banking and Continia Finance have been available since October 2024 and additional functions are being added on an ongoing basis.
The existing solutions will remain usable until their respective end-of-life dates:
- OPplusCloud until October 2025, on-premises until October 2026
- Dynamo PayCloud until October 2024, on-premises until October 2025
After these deadlines, Continia will no longer provide updates, bug fixes or new versions. We therefore recommend that you plan the changeover in good time.
What does that mean for you?
- Cloud customersWe will actively contact you in the coming weeks to jointly prepare the migration to Continia Banking and Finance by October 2025 at the latest.
- On-premises customers: We recommend that the changeover be made in the fourth quarter of 2025 at the earliest.
Our tip: There is no need to rush - you have enough time to plan the changeover in peace.
