Carrying out an inventory with Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central is an important function for determining the value of the company as well as the inventory or current assets and taking stock of them. The functional enhancement of CKL makes this much easier for you.
When valuing current assets in accordance with statutory regulations, the CKL solution provides support in determining balance sheet-relevant data.
The additional function is a simple and convenient option, especially in the following situations:
- Valuation of assets as at the balance sheet date,
- Achievement of acceptance by the auditors,
- Consideration of the rules of the "strict lowest value principle" - the valuation is carried out in accordance with the devaluation rules according to the criteria of age structure, article range, disposal procedure, batch expiry date, storage locations, lowest value, lowest value of foreign currencies and manual individual value adjustment.
Another advantage is that the module is completely based on the article movements and the cost price remains the same for all valuation processes.
We have already reported on stock valuation and article items in the NAV standard in previous issues of the newsletter. The assigned valuation rules are used to propose the warehouse stock accordingly for posting. This is done in compliance with the lowest value principle mentioned above.
